On the occasion of National Thalassemia Day (8th November), Mr. Muneeb Rahmat, Regional Head, PTGD Regional Center Sargodha, successfully organized a Thalassemia Awareness Walk at DHQ/Dr. Faisal Masood Teaching Hospital, Sargodha.

Proceedings:
RC PTGD Regional Center Sargodha organized an awareness walk on 8th November to mark National Thalassemia Day, emphasizing the prevention of Thalassemia and promoting the message, "Get Your Thalassemia Test Done before Marriage," at Dr. Faisal Masood (formerly DHQ) Teaching Hospital Sargodha.

Dr. Mushtaq Bashir, MS of DHQ/Dr. Faisal Masood Teaching Hospital Sargodha, honored the event as Chief Guest. The walk was further supported by respected Guests of Honor including Dr. Rana Riaz, Dr. Aslam Asad, Mr. Muneeb Rahmat, Prof. Dr. Humaira Akram, Prof. Dr. Rabeya Rehman, Prof. Dr. Tahira Tabassum, Dr. Nayyer Abbas Khan, and Dr. Asif Mehmood. Representatives from Hilal e Ahmar Thalassemia Center, Mr. G.M. Mirza and Mr. Mustanser Raza, also joined in solidarity. Together with doctors, MBBS Students, Nurses, Admin Staff and the brave thalassemia warrior children, all participants walked with one shared message: hope, unity, and the dream of a Thalassemia-Free Pakistan.
