On International Thalassemia Day (May 8th), PTGD Regional Center Sargodha, led by Mr. Muneeb Rahmat, organized an impactful Awareness Walk at Dr. Faisal Masood Teaching Hospital. Joined by senior health officials including Dr. Mushtaq Bashir, Dr. Rana Riaz, Prof. Dr. Rabbiya Rehman, and other department heads consultants, students, and community members marched from the main building to the gate to highlight PTGD’s free preventive services and urge “Get Your Thalassemia Test Done Before Marriage” for a Thalassemia Major-Free Pakistan. The dignitaries praised Mr. Rahmat’s proactive leadership and pledged to spread this vital message throughout the division.
